4. Chose the orbit that goes over the Earth spot you want to take a picture of.
The orbits for November 14th are Orbits 1806-1820.

The first orbit deadline is: Orbit 1806 at 16:49:46 GMT
The last orbit deadline is: Orbit 1810- 1820 at 23:00:00 GMT

The orbits for November 15th are Orbits 1821-1838.
The first orbit deadline is: Orbit 1821 at 16:03:23 GMT
The last orbit deadline is: Orbit 1826-1838 at 23:00:00 GMT

5. Place the red marker on the spot of the map that you want to photograph and click submit
(Remember to chose a RED orbit that shows where the International Space Station will be during daylight.

Our own Movie about Antarctica!

Presentation time: Today we are going to present our individual projects on 

A MOVIE for ANTARCTICA that each one of us has prepared at home.

Skype time: Then, our movies are going to be travel to the USA!

1.  The students of Mr McNulty's computer class from Newtown Middle School in Pensylvania 

are going to interview each of us on our movie pitch using Skype!

Our class communicates with The Amudsen-Scott station in the South Pole!
Johan, one of the scientists working in the station is open to our questions!
Here's some of the information he has sent us so far:

.... Due to our remote

location, actual telecommunications are problematic (though not

completely impossible), but we do welcome email correspondence.

The most frequent type of interaction that we have is more of a one-off,

where classes that are studying Antarctica put together a list of

questions, which we answer......

.....We are, by the way, scheduled to "open" tomorrow, though

the weather suggest that we may be a few days behind
schedule.  The temps are warm enough, but we've got high
winds and low visibility.
