LONDON - Here we come!

So, what do you know about London?

Let's watch a short film to see how this amazing city  has changed over the years




Discuss with a partner ways in which
London has stayed the same and
ways in which it has changed

How has your home town changed from 1927 to
the present day?
• What has changed for the better?
• What has changed for the worse?
• What would you change about your home town to
make it a better place to live in?

Try and find old video footage / photos
of your home town on YouTube.

Music to my Ears

How many adjectives to describe emotions can you come up in two minutes? Write them down
We are going to watch a video in which you will see some emotions expressed. As you watch you should note down the emotions you think are being expressed.

  • Work in pairs students and compare the adjectives you noted down.
  • What  emotions do you think the people were feeling? ( board)
  • What was happening when the people were feeling these emotions?
  • Now let's watch the video with sound to answer the question:
  • Why do you think are they feeling these emotions?
