OUR Solar System!

In the previous weeks we run Astronomy classes , when we watched videos, did research and discussed the miracles of the Universe.
Now each of us has chosen a part of our own solar system and created a presentation using
a variety of web 2.0 tools, which is also a target of our learning.  Enjoy!

Student A is a fan of a famous person he/she meets 
at a party. You want to speak to your 
hero/heroine. You ask the questions you prepared 
in Step 2. 
Student B is a famous person who meets a fan at a 
party. Your fan has a lot of questions they want 
to ask you. You answer their questions in as much 
detail as possible (you’ll have to use your 
imagination!). 
When you have finished they change roles.

How relevant is this cartoon to your school experience? 
It's essential to LEARN HOW TO LEARN so that we are the BEST learners  we can!
Visual learners are those who learn through seeing things. Look over the characteristics below to see if they sound familiar. A visual learner:
  • Is good at spelling but forgets names.
  • Wants to look at people to understand better what they say.
  • Needs quiet study time.
  • Has to think awhile before understanding lecture.
  • Is good at spelling.
  • Likes colors & fashion.
  • Dreams in color.
  • Understands/likes charts.
  • Is good with sign language.
  • Understands better when reading something right opposite him/her.
Auditory learners are those who learn best through hearing things. Look over these traits to see if they sound familiar to you. You may be an auditory learner if you are someone who:
  • Likes to read to self out loud.
  • Is not afraid to speak in class.
  • Likes oral reports.
  • Is good at explaining.
  • Remembers names.
  • Notices sound effects in movies.
  • Enjoys music.
  • Is good at grammar and foreign language.

How many adjectives to describe emotions can you come up in two minutes? Write them down
We are going to watch a video in which you will see some emotions expressed. As you watch you should note down the emotions you think are being expressed.
